MallorGEO 2010 - YES or NO?
First of all I would thank you all for coming. This is the only reason why MallorGEO is as it is. Without you and your energetic assistance this event would not have been possible.
Many of you asked me if there will be a MallorGEO in 2010 and of course I would like to organise the 3rd edition of MallorGEO. But many of you know about the problems I have with our Spanish reviewer. He blocks me and my activities wherever he can. Geocaching is not a hobby for him, it is a passion.
I invest a lot of money, time and energy but instead of getting assitance by Groundspeak I get blocked.
My ambition was and is to organizse an international event. But this can only work if it gets published early enough to allow all interested attendees to book reasonably priced flights and hotels. Garri averted this successfully this year.
For instance, Garri forbade me - to request Names, that are necessary for name tags - request email addresses (for callbacks and additional information) - phone numbers (for emergencies) - organise sponsors (as usual for other events)
and so on...
These numerous blockades make it difficult to organise these kind of event in a professional way.
Thus I desperately need your assistance with Groundspeak!!!
I wrote this request to ask for help. If you help me, there will be a MallorGEO 2010!!
